GEAR For Sports® is completely opposed to sweatshops or abusive labor practices. We instituted our first written code of conduct detailing our standards back in 1995. We established our office of Global Human Rights Compliance in 1997 to insure that workers manufacturing our products were treated fairly and to convey to our factory owners the importance of our code of conduct to
our many stakeholders.

GEAR For Sports® is committed to the ongoing process of step by step improvement in working conditions and pay scales in our factories. It is our intention to help eliminate sweatshops and abusive labor practices from the apparel industry and to take a leadership role in developing effective solutions to these complex and emotional issues.
